Trans Voice

Vocal realignment saves and can transform voices.

Vocal retraining for singers, actors, public speakers, and business professionals is an artistic yet functional vocal regimen that is used in conjunction but secondary to surgical procedures.

The main objective is to retrain the functional patterns of the vocal fold pressure as these were the primary factors responsible for the development of vocal nodules, polyps and recurring strain in the first place. The goal of vocal rehab is to bring the vocal folds back to their physiological functionality.

Vocal rest is almost always a necessary part of the healing process, pre or postoperative. Two to four weeks is the normal expected rest time before reactivation of the voice (speaking or singing). Beginning vocal use too early may disrupt the intricate balance of the healing process.
