The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) is an alphabet developed in the 19th century to accurately represent the pronunciation of languages. Using this technique, your accent needs will be a thing of the past. 

Whether accents come naturally to you, or not, I can help. Learning a dialect should be fun, though usually isn't very easy. By using a systematic approach based in IPA as well as working on sound placement and articulator drills, you can learn an accent or dialect that is alive and buoyant, as well as accurate. You will learn how to use the correct facial articulators for shaping the sounds, how to form the correct vowels and consonants as well as the rhythm, intonation, and melody of the dialect.

Voice is a signifier and the way in which we speak carries a huge amount of information about our identity. Learn how your own accent contains information not only about where you're from, but also your family heritage, your age, culture, the landscape of your home and life experience. Once you understand this, you will be able to incorporate these considerations into your new accent, so that you find the voice of a character that is authentic and believable.
